Ms. Annita Mau (Governor)

Annita holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English (Minor in Chinese), and a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences (Criminology); as well as a Master’s Degree in Arts (Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language).  She has a Diploma in Translation from the Institute of Linguists, UK, and a Post-Grad Diploma in Education (Lifelong Learning) from the University of Nottingham, UK.

Annita is an accredited mediator, mediator trainer and assessor.  She is awarded the “Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF)” qualification from Centre for Credentialing & Education, USA.

For decades Annita has held senior positions in public affairs with major public corporations, including HK Council of Social Service, KCRC, and the Hospital Authority.  

Annita’s strengths are in government, community and media relations and in crisis communication.  In 2006 following semi-retirement she became a trainer in the fields of mediation, communication and creativity.  She trained senior management of government departments, directorates in NGOs, and tertiary students.  The training materials she developed for mediation and creativity won awards by the Chinese Staff Education and Vocational Training Association in 2012 and 2014 respectively.  She is the Senior Corporate Trainer (Associate Professor level) of  PRC’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.  

Annita joined CCF in June 2006.  She chaired the Public Relations and Media Services Committee from March 2007 to August 2012.  She left in September 2012 and rejoined CCF as governor in April 2017.
