CCF Newsletter Vol. 48 is published “hot off the press”! Summer is the best time to exercise, stretch and enjoy the sunshine outside. With “exercise” as the theme, this issue covered our biannual CCF Sports Day and our Occupational Therapist also introduced some simple exercises that we could do at home! Let’s try them!
Photo-shooting has been widely used by the younger generation to capture moments of their daily life. The Child Life Specialists (formerly known as Hospital Play Specialists) introduced the “Photovoice” programme to the young cancer patients in the hospitals, hoping that through this interactive and experiential exercise, they will learn to reflect on their thoughts and feelings of being a cancer patients, and explore the use of visual images to express themselves.

So Chun had succumbed to acute myeloid leukaemia at the age of five. During his long battle against cancer, he had done many paintings. Every one of them has shown his vitality, vigour and passion for life.
