It is with profound respect that we announce the passing of Edward Yu, esteemed Full Member and Governor of the Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF).  The Board of Governors extends its condolences to his family and honors his lasting contributions to advancing paediatric care in Hong Kong.

Mr Yu's legacy is marked by visionary leadership and transformative governance. Elected to the Board of Governors in 2014, he became Vice-chairman in November 2015.  Edward established Children’s Palliative Care Foundation (CPCF) under CCF in October 2018, envisioning comprehensive psychosocial support for children with cancer and those with critical illnesses.   He was elected as the Chairman of the Governing Committee of CPCF.  His legacy lives on in every child who has been granted dignity, comfort, and hope through the frameworks he and CCF championed.
