The mandate to pursue our mission comes from the public, who provides the financial resources needed to carry on our work. We are not subvented by the government. We rely solely on public, private, corporate and donations from funding institutions, and, as such, we are accountable to our donors and must be cautious in utilising our resources.

Our Board of Governors is responsible for setting and directing policy, monitoring operations, overseeing human resources and all financial matters to ensure our donors’ interests are served. The Governors serve as public figures, advocate for the organisation and ensure legal compliance.
